Ushers Ministry

Mission Statement

The Mission of the Ushers Ministry is to assist the Parishioners.

Purpose of This Ministry

The Ushers Ministry provides several services to our parishioners, before, during, and after Mass. There responsibilities include the following:

• Assist before Mass by helping to find seating and answer any questions parishioners may have;
   
• Are always available in case of emergencies to assist someone who may become ill, provide first aid, or assist during an emergency evacuation;
   
• During Mass ushers assist with the collection and gifts; and
   
• After Mass ushers make sure the bulletins are distributed.
   

How Can One Become Involved in This Ministry?

Anyone can become an usher; men, women, and young people are welcome to join this ministry. We always need more ushers; especially for the 12 noon and 6:00 p.m. Masses.

Training is available and the time required is eight hours a month and adherence to a dress code is required. Honesty and the ability to get along with other people are the traits we need.
