Spiritual Life Commission

Mission Statement

The mission of the Spiritual Life Commission is to provide liturgical support for the Parish liturgies, which include Mass, communion to the sick, Divine Mercy, Our of Guadalupe and perpetual adoration.

Purpose of the Spiritual Life Commission

The purpose of the Spiritual Life Commission is to provide individual and community opportunities for spiritual growth for the parish community.

The Spiritual Life Commission coordinates the following eleven ministries that support the Liturgy:

• Altar Society
• Arts & Environment
• Divine Mercy Sunday
• Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
• Gift Bearers
• Lectors
• Music Ministry
• Our Lady of Guadalupe
• Servers
• Ushers

The Spiritual Life Commission also coordinates the four ministries that enhance and develop the spiritual well-being of the parish community, which are the following:

• Perpetual Adoration
• Prayer Chain
• Rosary Group
• Visitation Sick & Shut-ins

When Are Spiritual Life Commission Meetings?

Meetings are held six times a year (every other month) on the first Wednesday of the month.

Membership

The commission's membership is comprised of a representative from each of the various committees listed under the umbrella of this commission. All included ministries are listed above under the subtitle area "Purpose of the Spiritual Life Commission."
