Social/Family Life Commission

Mission Statement

The mission of the Social/Family Life Commission is to offer support to the ministries within the commission and act as a conduit to the Parish Council.

Purpose of the Social/Family Life Commission

The Social/Family Life Commission is part of the Parish Pastoral Council. The Social/Family Life Commission's responsibility is to act as a liaison to the parish council in offering support to the following sixteen ministries that involve social and family activities:

• Athletic Board
• Bus Drivers
• Coffee & Donuts
• Cub and Boy Scouts
• Festival
• Fitness Ministry
• Girl Scouts
• Keenagers
• Knights of Columbus
• Lenten Fish Fry
• Our Lady's Hands
• Parish Picnic
• Welcome Committee

When Are Social/Family Life Commission Meetings?

The Social/Family Life Commission meets twice a year, once in the spring and the other time during the fall, or on an as-needed basis.

Membership

The commission's membership is comprised of a representative from each of the various committees listed under the umbrella of this commission. All included ministries are listed above under the subtitle area "Purpose of the Social/Family Life Commission."
