Marriage Ministry

Mission Statement

The Mission of the Marriage Ministry is to provide resources and educational offerings which promote and enhance married life for couples at Our Lady of the Greenwood parish.

What is This Ministry About?

The Marriage Ministry offers lectures, workshops, and small group discussions to aid couples in all phases of married life: discernment, engagement, newly married, with children, with grown children, until heaven.

Childcare and refreshments are provided at each event. Topics range from the Eucharist to parenting to prayer. The lectures have featured a variety of speakers from priests to financial planners.

As this ministry grows, we look forward to offering smaller group bible studies, instruction for parents to pass on the faith to their children and other workshops as participants' desire.

Who May Participate in This Ministry?

Anyone can participate in this ministry. We also could use people dedicated to helping promote Holy Matrimony as a sacred vocation and sacrament to assist all participants of this ministry.
