Bus Driver (Senior Citizens)

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide transportation to senior citizens who wish to go to Sunday Mass and holy day Mass services.

What is This Ministry About?

This ministry consists of volunteer bus drivers who are willing to go to specified nursing homes/senior communities and pick up seniors who would otherwise not be able to go to Sunday Mass services.

This bus service is provided for the Saturday evening 5:30 p.m. Mass and for all holy day Mass services.

Who May Volunteer for This Ministry?

All volunteers who wish to drive a school bus are required to have a "CDL" (Commercial Drivers License).  A random drug test may also be required.

Bus Service Pick-up Schedule

Pick–up service for seniors for the 5:30 p.m. Saturday Evening Mass is available with pick–up times between 4:30 p.m. — 5:00 p.m. at the following locations:

• Crestwood Village and
• Greenwood Village at 271 Village Lane

Note:  For Holy Days, the time has to be arranged and is usually noted in the bulletin.
