Phone Committee Ministry

Mission Statement

The Mission of the Phone Committee Ministry is to save on mailings or to react to a need for a quick response.

What is This Ministry About?

This ministry helps out when a large number of phone calls are to be made. The reasons for the calls could be many: follow-up on stewardship, welcoming people, questionnaires, etc.

Any time someone is asked to make phone calls for this ministry, the volunteers are supplied with "scripts" and background information on why they are calling. Sometimes calls are made from the parish office; sometimes the callers place them from home.

Who May Volunteer to Help in This Ministry?

We are looking for people with good phone skills and the ability to follow a script and take notes. The time commitment may average about five to ten hours per year.

If you are unable to leave your house because of small children or are homebound, this may be a ministry you can participate in.
