Christian Help, Inc.

Mission Statement

"In the spirit of Jesus Christ we provide hope and help to the homeless and the near homeless."

What is This Ministry About?

Christian Help, Inc.'s vision is to "Offer Hope to the Homeless" by assisting those threatened by transitional or temporary homelessness with our resources of counseling, funding and through our collaboration with other agencies and organizations in the community.

Our goal is to help these families and individuals become self-supporting and productive members of the community by providing stability in their life and by respecting their individual dignity in the spirit of Jesus Christ.

We are an interdenominational organization of Christians serving the needs of the homeless and near homeless in Johnson County since 2003.

We help families achieve stability in their lives through case management and financial assistance allowing families to move out of poverty through life skills, self examination, empowerment, and bringing them to the Lord.

Mentoring individuals and families is our gift from God to serve the community. We desire to be the hands, feet, eyes and ears of Jesus Christ in the world today.

When Does This Ministry Meet?

This ministry meets every third Monday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at our new location at 227 East Jefferson Street, in Franklin, Indiana.

Our Favorite Prayer

Dearest Lord, help us to love one another. Come into our hearts. We surrender ourselves to your will. Possess us, fill us with love and generosity. Guide us to the people we should meet or help; to the circumstances where we can best serve you. Let us not be judgmental. With the guidance of Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta, we know that "together we can do something beautiful for God. Our love has to be put into action and that action is service."

Keep us focused on Jesus so that by following His will we will know how best to give Christian help. We ask these things in your most precious name.
