Mission Statement

The Mission of the Bereavement ministry is to assist members of the parish at the time of a death in their families.

What is This Ministry About / Purpose?

The Bereavement Ministry works with the family to help in any way they can: transportation, child care, prayer, or other issues the family has at this time. The time commitment varies but it is a very needed and rewarding service to our community of believers. Remember the mercy is to those who are left behind. Our prayers for the deceased is the hope of eternal life in heaven. Our prayers for the surviving family members is the hope of acceptance and comfort.
